The what are you thinking moment came when the IdeaPad Tablet P1 specs was announced. It will run Windows 7 and of course Intel. A 1.5GHz Intel processor to be exact. It will be available in the fourth quarter of this year. Here is to hoping that they wise up and shelve this P1 until Windows 8 is ready. launch it day and date with the new OS.
Then again, there’s at least one practical use case for that home button. The K1 makes it easy to take screenshots — normally, a big bowl of tedium for Android users. Similar to what you’d do with an iPhone or iPad, just press the home key and the volume down button at the same time to take a snapshot of what’s on the screen. Not a huge selling point, but a pleasant surprise nonetheless.
I am eager to see further development in the Lenovo product line, and to see the company address what I believe are still some lingering issues with the current product line-up.Hope that gives you something to ‘chew-on’.
I welcome other opinions/feedback from my visitors using the current system/s — if you’re using the Lenovo IdeaPad K1 today, what is your thought on it’s competitiveness?
